Granary Arts invites you to join us for the annual Scandinavian Heritage Conference as part of Ephraim City’s Scandinavian Heritage Festival. Come learn about historical influences in the Sanpete Valley.

Friday, May 26, 2023 / 11am – 1pm

11am / Allen D. Roberts, architect and author of numerous historical and architectural books and articles, including A History of Sanpete County, will give a presentation titled Sanpete’s Architect-Builders and their Work. Allen, a specialist in historic restoration, invites conference attendees to bring historic photos of architecture they have interest in to discuss with him after his presentation.

12pm / Sarah Thomas, Pioneer Park Director for Fort Ephraim Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers (DUP), will give a presentation titled “The Renovation of the Hansen House and Pioneer Park”. Sarah and many other volunteers spent countless hours renovating cabins and buildings in Ephraim’s Pioneer Park, as well as the historic Hansen House, built in 1862, and now serving as a museum in this significant historical area of Ephraim.
